Planting big seeded varieties has nothing to do with yield. If large seed yielded more than breeders would have golfball size beans by now. They would be selecting for it big time..I have been doing plots for 30 plus yrs and have never seen any seed size dominate plots. This yr the smallest seed size won my plot at 71 bu/acre.
Look at yield not seed size. Its like buying on price without looking at net return.
