Here you can write your own will, have it witnessed by 2 people, and it is valid. That doesn't mean it's smart, but it's valid. Agree with others, see an attorney. My wife and I just finished redoing our wills after ignoring them for about 20 years, I'm glad we had our attorney involved. My $.02.
