Subject: RE: What's New In High Yield Soybeans?

Hazelton, Kansas
Ed,

It doesn't fit the "high yield" title at all, but my personal vote would be for a discussion of planting geometries for drought. I have played around with skip-row beans (alternating 30-60 inch rows) to ration soil moisture. I've done enough to establish that beans can and do use the moisture all the way across the 60 inch gaps.

Do you know of any real research on this topic?

Thanks.

MDS
