Baldwin City, KS | 150 cows on rural water, 48 heifers getting ice on a pond broke for them. Absolutely no clue about next spring if it doesn't rain. We were setting up panels around an old dug well that usually has decent water. Probably 30 footer. It smelled like an animal had gone down it and died. We looked and to our surprise there was only a stagnant little puddle of water down there. We hadn't even been pumping out of it. Scary. | |
