All of our water comes from one of four wells around the farm, looked into getting rural water when i build my finishing barn, but the initial cost plus the monthly rate is cost prohibitive at this point. Hooking onto ruralk water that is about 1/4 mile is just over $17k. Last well we dug, 5 years ago was $12,842(just looked). That well is 130' deep. Hit water at 17'I think.
