Subject: RE: Oh Culligan Man....

Little River, TX
In the mid 60's the AF had me at Roswell, NM. There a water softener was just about mandatory. We ALL used a rental system where they replaced the tank every week. It To make the time a week swap out work it had to go only on the hot water side

The water had both Plaster of Paris and "Salts" so the poor pre school age kids did not if they were constipated or had the runs. For the first two weeks they alternated every day.

With their dry air the wife did not NEED a dryer. Hang the clothes on the line and almost immediately start taking them down and back into the house.

Wonderful town, great people in Roswell.
