After Mom passed, we found several boxes that contained letters that my brothers and I had written when we were in the Army. Each box contained three years of letters from each of us. Still got mine and will go back and read them occassionally. Brings up time and events that I had completely forgotton about. Makes me wonder what in the world I was thinking of back then. One of them relates the problem I had getting bacross the Alp Mountains when JFK was killed. We were ordered to return to our units and the mountains had a fresh covering of snow on the French side.
