that might be the way we will have to go. another person posted asking what my costs are. I have no doubt my costs are way out of the ball park due to the fact that i feed them good quality alfalfa and bucket corn to them along with a lick barrel and salt and mineral all year long. labor is no concern because it isn't about making a profit. I do enough whining to the family already so they know that i tried hard and just feeding a few animals is a pain in the butt. if i had hundreds on feed i could pinpoint it down to the cent like i do with my grain operation but here there is alot of time and extra feed that might not get put into the animal on a normal feedlot operation. like i said before it isn't about making money here.
