Have a set of 16 month old LTX-MS^2 with 30,000 miles, rotated twice, so far so good, I expect 60 or 70+ out of them. I will complain about the road noise, at 40-50mph, this is in a Excursion. I have no advice on what to try different.
I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on my farm/work trucks, I love them, I think they make a highway tread type version, I haven't tried that, only thing is Nittos are not a USA made tire.
