| The row units have a double disc opener ahead of a "runner" or shoe?. The air units ,78s were the best, plateless, double disk opener, with a set of wheels that could be added for depth control, had those on and also ran alittle press wheel in behind the openers. If u have the runner style with the disk openers works pretty well in notill but digs ruts in worked ground. We also have units that are plate, u adjust depth with a threaded crank, probabluy late 60s that came out. Can u get a picture? | |
