| I think DVD's are only for playing dvd's. If you want to record, you have to have a DVR and I think belong to Directv, or Dish Network, or maybe a cable place. At least that is what I thought I read as I wanted something to record regular tv shows when we are in the motor home but we aren't hooked up with Directv. We use to have Directv in the RV but the receiver went bad while we were in AZ. So I called Directv and they said I needed a new one, but because we weren't in WI, we couldn't get it. Dave thought we should still get on in AZ then and I told him no way am I paying that much money per month when we only use it a couple months in the winter and a few weeks in the summer. We have cable hook up out there, so that should be good enough. So now I found an old VCR recorder in the basement and hope it works. | |
