Eastern Kansas | We've tried both Pearl Millet and sterile sorgham sudan. Both were a disaster. Personally I would not plant them ever again unless I had irrigation or something. We do however frost seed our red clover on wheat with the fertilizer. Just have coop blend it in with your dry and spread it on. The clover doesn't spread as far so we make 2x the trips across the field with the buggy. The clover stand typically lasts 2 years for us, but we have just tilled the fall regrowth under on fields we're trying to improve soil health on before going to corn. Don't know how much it helped but we tried it. | |
