Goff Kansas | talking of cow/calf numbers. in my part of the world, guys are taking notice of this fert price and what it takes to fetilize an acre of grass. For us, any where from 50 - 75 per acre.. freakin' rediculous!!!! i hear of guys doing some hard culling, to out right selling there small herds. also cash rent is the other factor, as it is trying (finally) to keep pace with row crop. my point, i think cattle numbers will come down. | |
