ND | Really good. As steve in SD said it is stupid luck.........but if I compare it to ag-mas or whoever compiles all the experts,,I'm above all the way back to 2003. The past 3 years are huge,as I was texas hedged on wheat , corn beans and canola.This year..07 crop, I gave away .08 selling options on my beans,but still have my beans, our basis is really high up here=-1.40 or something stupid,corn is finally down to -30 or something.Even though I have sold 05,06, wheat last fall and this year,,i still left a chunk on the table with the earlier sales. Sold my futures contracts a month to early also,,lots of uncharted waters and i'm no sailer.Good luck.
2008==no sales , but some contracts laying here........awful dry......we grow 8-11 crops per year. | |
