West Central MN | I am really late on this conversation but was vacationing last week when I saw this thread and for some reason I could not log on using either my iphone or ipad.
Anyway, regarding the rail cars between Graceville and Alberta that stretch has been used for long term storage for several years now. They do seem to rotate the cars in and out however. For close to one year their was a bunch of auto transport cars parked there which never moved. Then for about 6 months the track was full of lumber cars. Last time I drove that stretch of road a couple of months ago there were not any cars parked at all.
I have never seen grain cars stored there however. Is it possible they were cars already loaded and waiting to be moved from Cargill or maybe empty cars waiting to be loaded????
I drove between Graceville and Johnson on Christmas Eve night and that stretch of track was empty. So maybe they are all gone now. | |
