North Central Iowa | I'm building an addition with a garage with in floor heat and planning to add a geothermal furnace. The garage floor is poured and the walls are up,but it looks like they won't get the boring done for the geothermal until spring. The tubes are in the floor. Is there a cheap way to heat the floor this winter until we can finish the furnace project next summer. I've done a search and know the correct way costs more than I want to spend for one winters use. Can I just hook up a gas water heater and a thermostatically controlled pump and get by for one winter. I know it won't be as efficient as having a three thousand dollar panel that controls everything the right way but can I get by? | |
