Those are all great stories of paying forward!
The best feeling I get is to do it without them knowing it like a couple of examples above. It's hard to do but well worth the reward.
My neighbor caught me putting ear corn in his shed for his animals, he can't afford much and has had a rough go of it. They left a tin of goodies in the mailbox and I am enjoying one with coffee right now.
