Subject: RE: private pilot

East Prairie, MO

Got my Private Pilot certificate in April of 2011. Starting to work on my Instrument now. Got  a Cessna 177 Cardinal last Winter to start the Instrument work because renting the 172 was getting out of hand and I didn't want to have to worry about going when I wanted to go. After I get the rating I would love to keep it but we will see how that goes, I'm really enjoying having it and look for reasons to go look at a distant piece of equipment or something LOL! I've got a friend that has a Beech Debonair that I'm fixing to get checked out in and I got my tailwheel endorsement last summer in a 140. I also have an ultralight (loosely stated as such) that I probably have 150 unlogged hours in and use it sometimes on a daily basis in the summer to check things, mostly irrigation. I think I may be part bird, I've always had a fascination with flying and can't get enough of it.

Here we are waiting out some weather on our way to Gulf Shores last summer, gotta get that Instrument rating!
