68340 | Quit a number of pilots on here. Some have experience in the large military crafts.
I stopped about 5 years ago.
I have been to California and Florida, now there are some stories, but did not have enough use to keep up the flying.
I loved the challenge of keeping course, altitude, stability, monitoring the instruments, using directional instruments, keeping radio contact when needed, keeping visual for other aircraft. I flew an older Piper Cherokee 180 club plane that was almost always available. Could not pass my medical now because I had a pass out and am now on meds. It was fun and a challenge 20 years ago.
It would have been great to own a Cub.
