| I sent the guys down and hauled wheat during wheat harvest a long time ago when the crop was short around here. We also ran flatbeds through Kansas with side kits in later years. It was my understanding that if you could haul wheat you could get by with anything at that time. Some of the guys told me the farmers sent their daughters to town to try and get the truckers to bring their trucks out to the farm. From experience every one waved at us as we went through and the patrol only waved as we blew past running 85mph. | |
