Southwest OK | The creek is access actually the Wa****a river. Would say it is four to five feet below average. Until last year ahad never seen cattle cross in that spot without swimming. Top soil moisture is adequate in places. We had some spotty showers about six weeks ago. Sub moisture is almost non existent. Drilled some four feet deep post holes three weeks ago. After the first six inches it was powder dry.
Apparently the actual name of the river is offensive. Wa- sh-i-ta
