west central Iowa | We have a stove in the basement at the bottom of the stairway, which is at one end of the house. The heat travels up the stairway and then across the one story portion of our house and then up the stairway leading to the upstairs so it works very well. We have an old coal chute door in our basement we put the wood in through and we have a good class A chimney that doesn't require a lot of cleaning the way we run the stove. | |
