Huntley Montana
Have you ever heard of the "bounce" method of unplugging ? Only time it doesn't work for me is when I plug the stuffer chamber with damp straw.
What you do is when the feeder is plugged, is shut off the baler, trip the stuffer, open the front lid to be able to watch the overrunning clutch, start the baler then shut the PTO off befor the plunger hits with the overrunning clutch pointing at about 2:45 (this keeps the "dogs" from reingauging & trying to turn backwards against the PTO brake) so the plunger hits & bounces backwards making the stuffer feeder push out backwards what is plugging it. Might take 2-3 tries, but it works a LL of a lot better than doing it by hand.
