Subject: RE: New project.

West Salem, Illinois
I pulled out several hedge posts that my Great Grandpa set back in the forties and fifties used a spiked manure bucket on my skid loader, worked good. To pull a post I set the bucket on the ground and lined the post up between a couple of the points, than I ran into the post and just used the tilt on the bucket and usually got them to pop right out. As for the wire, I usually pull it off the posts and roll it up by hand, not real invenitve their but it works for what fence I have taken up.

As far as your post hole digger vs pounder I like a digger because it can be used for something other than setting fence posts, and I figure you already have one so why not use it? I have often wondered what it would take to convert a 3 point model into hydraulic driven than a person could easily make up some sort of mount for it either hook it to your bucket or the neighbor has one that they mount to there bale forks.

How are the feed bunks working out?
