Everyone up North thinks that fracing is a new technology and that just came about up in the PA. The fact is that we have been fracing wells in Oklahoma and Texas far longer than the big boys have been drilling in your areas. And Texas and Oklahoma raise much more cattle with no problems. Obviously there are the occasional leaks from trucks or surface equipment, but actual water contamination from the well underground is rare in my opinion. I have drank water from a water well just a few hundred feet from wells. I think Im still pretty normal. Yes I do work in the industry too. Have a Merry Christmas guys!
