N/E Iowa | Dad and i was talking about getting a 6430 MFD, and maybe a loader for a chore trator. We currently use a 1967, 4020 that works fine but a cab, better hydraulics, MFD, and heat and air sure would be nice. I would be using it on feed grinder, manure spreader (tandem axle) hay mower 9 ft, V-rake, possibly a 468 round baler, running a 10X70 auger... running a rock picker in the spring.
Tell me (the people that have them) the pros and cons of these tractors.... I realize they have a german 4 cylinder motor, Are they rougher then heck to ride in with that short wheel base? They should out pull the 4020 hands down?? And one last question how does the IVT work in certian situations?? seeing over the loader brackets a pain?? Thanks for any replies. Need some info before spending that kind of coin on a tractor..
Looking to give the 4020 a lasting vacation in the back of the shed for awhile!
