So according to you we cannot talk about it, and no one who 'has not gone through it' deserves to have any say about it.  That all sounds just peachy and everything, except for the fact that society has an interest in the issue because innocent people are being killed.   If we were not talking about people getting killed, then yeah, it's nobody's business and all that poo poo.   But when you walk into a school and start shooting kids, I'm sorry, but you just made it everybody's business. 

If society does not talk about things how are we ever supposed to improve anything?  That is a silly thing to say.
