Western Iowa | If you are looking for a 60ft bar, it won't be a 2600 or 3600 planter. It would be a 3700 or 3800 bar. I think they even made a older bar but I am not sure on the number
The 3700 bar basically front folds from the middle and only flexes in the middle
The 3800 bar is similar to a 1770 or 1770nt bar, where some of the units stay in the back while each wing folds forward, but I am not for certain where it flexes as I have not had one.
If I had a choice I would have a 1770nt JD bar or a 3800. There was some spindle/ bearing / hub issues with some of the 3800's though..... in transport | |
