Faunsdale, AL | I don't think there has to be a reason for the stroke control valve to stick THAT MEANS IT WILL STICK AGAIN ANY TIME SOON.
In my experience destroking one is a good second or third step for any sudden hydraulic pump quitting problem. (after making sure coupling splines aren't stripped out and there's fluid in the transmission etc).
I am still puzzled that your tractor still had steering and brakes.
