Stratton, Ontario, Canada | We drink a lot of coffee in our house. At least 3-4 pots a day, so we know good coffee. Most is crap. Folgers is the best. Edwards is ok in a pinch. Drank a lot of coffee at other households over the years and if I see a Folgers can on the counter I will definitely say yes to coffee. Tim Horton's is good, but expensive. When Folgers is on sale, we regular buy 4-6 big cans of it.
As far as coffee makers, we by the cheapest on sale, usually Sunbeam or B&D. They only last an average of 6 months and we toss them. Have 2 brand new spares in the closet if one goes and we buy another replacement when they cost about $20. We've had the expensive coffee makers over the years and they burn out just like the rest of them. The more you use, the quicker they burn out. No point buying $100 one when 5 $20 ones work just as well. |
