Lapel, In
It is and has been a volume world we live in for some time now. They simply know the rules and the rules haven't changed---- yet. You and I live in that same world. eg. How many acres would you have to farm if inflation would have been reflected in soybeans prices today for example?( 1973--$12.90 = $61.06 today) Successful farmers had no choice but to keep on expanding acres over the last 50 years. Elevators that have stayed in business have had to expand their through put as well. Free D.P. They lock in volume that way.Just one ploy they use to keep up that volume they need to keep the doors open. I am surprized that we haven't seen a lot more free D.P. in the last 20-30 years.
Basis 49-53ยข locally today.
