near dyersville iowa | Now this isnt going to be bleeding heart here..be warned. The kid knows his mom is scared. Its his power over her. He is using it to the greatest extent possible. Notice he shapes up when he doesnt get his way. I have no idea about mental illness..but to me it seems there is no real sense of balance in that kids life. Its all or nothing, all the time. He takes extreme measures just so his mother will take more extreme measures. The mom needs help..but that help is not drugs. It is a pattern of determining who is dominant in the relationship..and she is losing. She knows that..but has no idea how to reverse the situation. It may be too late. Its almost the same as the dog who intimidates you. He knows your scared and takes advantage of it whenever he can. It will only get worse until you can really show you arent scared. | |
