Lubbock, Texas | pretty obvious what a large part of the problem in that article is
1. no mention of a father
2. I am positive that kid was never "subjected" to the "violence" of being spanked and told no when he was young.....all his endorphins are still locked up in his (sit on it playing video games) butt instead of being freed by the belt (or paddle at school) to travel to his brain to stimulate the "you can't be a spaz and get your way" location
3. 7th grade and has "electronicS" (emphasis on the plural) to be taken away from him......sitting around in your room spazing out on video games and other electronics is not how you get out and socialize with other kids that tell you things like "quit being such a freaking spaz or we won't hang out with you any more" or "shut up idiot we are doing this today and not what you want to do again"
what happened to going outside and playing with matches or burning ants with a magnifier glass or throwing things at cars or catching crawdads with moms bacon or shooting snakes with a BB gun like normal kids did? | |
