Western Iowa | I have a 344H with about 4200 hours on it now and no hydro issues.
I do think it is good to keep filters changed on time and dump all the hydo oil every couple years. I can burn the tires when digging into virgin dirt so I don't feel I am giving anything up to a torque convertor.
I like the 344 over the 244/304 as the 344 has 25" rubber where the smaller loaders have smaller rubber. My quick tach interchanges with the larger 444-544-624. The little loaders have there own style which is different. The 344 also has the deere 4045T motor which I think the smaller motors are a yanmar?. I really don't know much about the 324, I think they are the same 4045 in the 344 but without the turbo
They all are nice loaders and all have the stereo steering which is a big plus in tight quarters. | |
