Thud - 12/15/2012 20:19 Mark, how do you think those standards would 'fly' in the US? Makes some sense to me as it still preserves the 2nd amendment rights, while at the same time SHOULD help weed out some of the potential nuts. I think we all agree that these types of incidents will never be 100% preventable but even the diehard gun supporters have to admit that something has to be done. Why would anyone think adding another law is going to prevent criminals from owning/possesing a gun? Do you think breaking the law attaining the gun is going to be the line they're not going to cross? Nevermind the fact that they have no problem with breaking the law by shooting someone. |
