It takes a pretty good size loader to come with a 4 yard bucket. Most machines of ANY kind would weigh 30,000 lbs. +. We have been running the cat 938 models. They weigh 29,500 lbs. and come from factory with a 3.7 yard bucket. Our 938F loader currently has 19,250 hrs. on it. If you buy a smaller loader and add a 4 yd. bucket to it, then it won't dump right and the cutting edge will always be in the feed wagon or manure spreader where you don't want it. The smaller loaders simply just don't lift high enough. I too am trying to sell a loader to update before the end of the year. It's a 2007 938 G seriesII. Feel free to e-mail me or call 712-830-1191.
