It will have to be spread out more than you expect for it to dry. Once it goes through a flail chopper it will be kind of packed when you run it off. A mower sort of fluffs up the hay, while a wagon conveyor will dump it in a narrow band. If you can get it to dry I don't see why it wouldn't work unless you bring home hardware, and a flail chopper is good at picking that stuff up. The flails create some lift as they go over a field, so any plastic is guaranteed to get picked up. It will stop being fun if you ever get a loaded wagon of greenchop too far into the ditch and roll it. I've had that experience, and it isn't funny until at least three or four years later when you are telling stories about "back when..."
