Eastern Ontario | OK so I got that part. Basically what I thought. But are you saying that if beans are $13 and some lunatic buyer offers $15, then beans jump to $15 eventho the buyer might have only made a small purchase. If that is the case, lets say someone holds a large quantity of beans and they are at $13. This person goes out and buys a small quantity of beans for $15, thereby raising the price to $15. He then dumps all his beans for $15 and he made a ton of money. I'm sure it's not that simple. I suppose he would need a buyer that's willing to pay$15. Not likely. But maybe in a crazy upmove, someone might. Couldn't someone with deep pockets trading large volumes create this type of scenario and come out a winner? Guess I'm asking how someone could manipulate the market in their favour.
