I suspect that what will happen is that, at the last minute, a bill will be passed and signed to continue the current Farm Bill. It will be up to the new Congress next year to debate the issues and come to som esort of sgreement. From what I can gqther now, discussions are not going well---too many regional differences. No way will we see $38 for milk.
And I wonder about the traders at the CME...milk production is certainly flat/falling...but is consumer demand falling faster? I don't know...
