west central iowa | I'm up waiting for a pot load of new cattle to come in. This got me thinking of how many of us working with livestock have lost sleep over the years. It could be during calving time, early milkings, always with loading fat cattle or unloading new ones, hauling manure at night when it's froze out instead of making ruts during the day, feeding before we can go to the field, pulling feed trucks or the tub grinder out of the ditch or even like i read before fixing a electrical line or a broken well or water line so OUR livestock won't go without. What's your guy's stories for losing sleep related to livestock? | |
