Dardanelle, in Yell County, Arkansas | I have been hovering in the background now for about two years and have never posted anything. I thought it was time to step up to the plate and say Hi to everyone. I, like many of you, have a off the farm job that takes 50+ hours each week and in my spare time I have bought my fathers cattle herd (around 140 cows of all flavors) and leased what is left of our small family farm (about 460 acres of pastureland and trees and weeds). This year has been trying to say the least. I wanted to say Thank You to all of you, I have gotten a lot of great ideas from here and enjoy checking the post each day. Ben, I wish my place looked half as good as yours. Garvo, you inspire me (I even switched to Bud Light ; ) I have a long way to go and Lord knows I need as much good advice as I can get, so here's Hello and Thank You to all. |
