NE Iowa | I'm not far from you and I have had great luck with Garst (or now it's called NexGrow) leafhopper variety 6475LH. I got tired of spraying 2-3 times a year and putting all those tracks in the alfalfa. I booked it and paid a month ago and was like $190 a bag after discounts. I've never planted any Pioneer alflalfa but if you already bought any Pioneer corn or beans if you add any amount of alfalfa to your order you get an additional 1% off your entire order. If you grow a bunch of corn and beans and only a little alfalfa and plant Pioneer it could make the alfalfa pretty reasonable. | |
