Thunder Bay, Ontario, Great White North | My milk quality has been adequate. The Lely robots use rotating brushes to clean the teats - they do a good job. There have been a lot of times I pulled out the filter (after 8hrs) and can hardly tell it has been used, it was that clean. Have had some SCC issues which I am finally getting through that I'm blaming on dry cows and not treating them well enough when we were building the barn last year. SCC is around 250 (too high for me) and bactoscan runs about 15-20. |
