DMI would be my first choice, no contest. TigerMate II is improved TMI.

The new 2210 JD is OK if you want to spend lots of money for something pretty new.

Case IH 4300 is ok, but they wear out. We switched from a 4300 to the DMI, and were very impressed since it did a much better job mixing and leveling. The DMI will pull harder. The DMI has great trash clearance. You'll never plug it in normal field conditions. I plugged it with 6' tall weeds and trees, but never unchopped cornstalks.


I would stay away from any pre 2200 JD. The 980 and 960 are not all that great.

WilRich is pretty good, too.
