Northwest Missouri | For once I'm bullish....Have always been optimistic in production potential, forcing me to be bearish prices. Difficult for me to be optimistic production coming out of last year and apparently in the same type of weather pattern. Another thing that has me finally bullish is inflation. Many, correctly so, ask the question "how many times has corn been at $7, or $8 or whatever?" which of course is very few. Not many ask the question " how many acres have been sold for $10K, $20K/ac, how many tractors have been sold for $275K, of how many tons of Nh3 sold for $900/ton?" Point is $7 corn has the same purchasing power as $2.85 corn did 7 years ago, so I why all the excitement about $6 Dec.13' corn? | |
