it is positive to see old crop gaining on new crop.............
anytime you see nearby gain on the deferred months it is positive because it shows more upfront demand.................
so in corn march gaining on the July and Dec 13 contract is positive................also it was positive that Jan beans gained on March beans, July beans and Nov 13 beans
it isn't positive if you are bear spread........but fundamentally when markets invert or invert more that is positive............
