Subject: kind of out there AutoSteer question


Anyone ever tried to put any kind of assisted steering (hydraulic, EZ Steer, whatever) on one of the New Holland bi-directional tractors? I think one of these with a set of sprayer booms mounted at the cab end would make for a pretty slick setup. Throw some tall skinny tires on it and spray corn. Plus, you still have another small tractor to use for the money, rather than having it all tied up in a self-propelled sprayer that cant do much besides spray. Theyre articulated, so maybe adapt a system/settings from one of the larger 4-wheel drives? More or less just thinking out loud...
