central - east central Minnesota - | gene_champ - 12/7/2012 08:11 i used to use farmplan at the jd dealer. they also take visa. i had a falling out with farmplan, as now use an amazon visa here. i do get points and i supposed they pay a fee. i am sure farmplan had a merchant fee also. i just redeemed some points for an applebees gift card. if not for the ability to use a credit card, many purchases, especially large ones, would not be made. people seem to like the monthly payment option. most businesses know that and consider the fees a necessary cost of business.
Most business have the credit card expense built into the price of the product or service . .. It is not a cost of business, simply pass through to consumer.
If they do not, it is common to see it posted somewhere, credit cards add x% ~ |
