Actually John if I was to go with a cow/calf deal I'd go with Red Angus. So that offer looks enticing. I'm only 45 mins from Dville...Independence area. What made you go with Red Angus? Do you take a hit at the sale barn with red? Could you set me up with a breeder to get some good Red Angus cows? Seems Red Angus breeders are few and far between.
There's a group of Red Angus breeders having a special cow/heifer/bull sale at Decorah, IA tomorrow. It sounds like they do it every year. I was thinking about going (but probably not buying except maybe for the commercial cows/heifers at the end).
