if not for the ability to use a credit card, many purchases, especially large ones, would not be made. people seem to like the monthly payment option. most businesses know that and consider the fees a necessary cost of business.
I totally agree. My average charge is $4100, and I saw a difference in my close rate when I began to take Credit cards, and tell people that I take them when I present the estimate. The 1.35% is a justifiable cost of doing business, but not 4%. I tell potential customer when I present the quote that I take REGULAR cards but not REWARDS cards--some still try me, but I simply won't take a rewards card. |
